Ricochet Street Dance Company (RSDC) is based in London. RSDC is a voluntary Street Dance Performance Organisation that Host’s 3 Dance Groups and provides Dancers with the necessary training to be able to go out and take part in Performances. I.e., Showcases, Competitions, Youth Platforms and various Dance shows.
RSDC specialises in their own style of Street Dance, ‘Urban Contemporary Street’, which is a mixture of Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Jazz, Retro Urban Funk, Smooth Groove Movements & Lyrical.
RSDC will assist in improving your Street Dance Technique, General Dance Technique, Performance Skills, Dance Ability, build your confidence to have the ability to perform with energy whether on stage, in rehearsals or in our Open Class and give you the ability to work and bond together as part of a team.
RSDC have performed in Germany & Demark and in venues such as The Barbican, Hammersmith Apollo, Wembley Conference Centre, Fairfield Halls, Hackney Empire, Battersea Arts Centre, The Wandsworth Civic Suite and The Stratford Circus just to name a few.
Dance Groups in RSDC have been successful in being crowned Overall UK Street Dance Champions, 14-17 International Street Dance Champions (UK vs USA), 14-17 UK Street Dance Champions, 8-13 UK Street Dance Champions, & Young Performers of The Year twice as well as being invited as Special Guests to perform at the same event.
RSDC manages Dancers who span over three dance groups ‘Disclozure’ ‘Genetix’ & ‘Couture’ and one ‘Elite Training Group’.
** RSDC holds an OPEN DANCE CLASS every Saturday, for those who want to train and raise their ability level in Street Dance. Taking part in this class can advance you into one of the Groups that are Choreographed & Managed by RSDC.
